The vibrant surface colours quickly gives way to much more interesting themes.
The space offers great opportunity but also limits us - it’s a small space. So we need to create worlds in the world. I suggest we light the space in different ways. Using the bright, white light of space, for some moments - but then using darkness and colour to find new spaces in corners.
So the idea was to put Rebecca into this space, as if it were her imagination - a place where her fears, joy and expression lived - and then to dance around it, at times inspired, at times intimated and at times very anxious.
